We are sad to announce that on November 20, 2024, Nellie Coombs of Grand Bank, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Loder and Florence Loder; her father-in-law Fred Coombs Sr.; her siblings, Elijah, Daphne (Cec) and Margaret (Oliver); her brothers-in-law, Thomas Coombs (Regina), Lloyd Rideout and Hiram Samson; and her nephews, Bradley Coombs and Morris Newman.
She is survived by: her husband Fred Coombs; her mother-in-law Jane Coombs; her siblings, Bernice Samson, Gertrude Pinksen (Roland), Doug Loder (Maxine), Leonard Loder (Millie) and Boyd Loder (Cynthia); her siblings-in-law, Corella Coombs, Geraldine Buffett (Joe) and Calvin Coombs (Pauline); her close friends, Phyllis and Clyde Elliott of St. Anthony; and her cousin Raymond Clarke.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Alban's Anglican Church (1 Church St, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A burial will be held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 3:00 PM at the St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery (1 Church St, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0).
In Nellie's memory donations may be made to St. Alban's Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
