He was predeceased by: his father Leslie Hillier; his daughter Cathy Slaney; and his siblings, Lewis Hillier, Aubrey Hillier and Margaret Hiller.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his mother Georgina Hillier; his children, Jody Hillier (Jackie) of Jarvis, ON, John Clarke (Sharon) of Mount Pearl, Yolanda Hillier (Jason) of Mount Pearl and Leslie-Ann Slaney (Billy) of Mount Pearl; his sisters, Violet Hillier, Helen Martin (Lew) and Daphne Ennis (Bill); and his grandchildren, Malorie, Lexie, Gracie, Nicole, Alyssa, Kyle, Brandon and Ian.
In Leslie's memory, donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre.
