He was predeceased by: his wife Hannah Jane Barnes; his parents, Charles (Elizabeth Barnes) and Baby; his siblings, Alex and Hannah Jane; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Melinda Evans; his stepmother Ada Evans; and his brothers-in-law, Philip Baker and Norman Evans (Sarah).
He is survived by: his daughter Karen Barnes (Bert) of Grand Bank; his grandchildren, Connie (Rod), Carla and Colin (Jill); his great grandchildren, Joshua, Matthew, Tyler, Tyson, Carter and Max; his sister Martha Jane Baker; his brothers-in-law, Wilfred Evans and Angus Evans (Selma); his nephew Carl Evans (Marg); and his niece Melinda Hillier.
In Leo's memory donations may be made to the Blue Crest Projects, no flowers by request of the family.
