It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura Grandy of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 4, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura Grandy to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ronald; her granddaughter Shirley Murphy (Arthur); her parents, William Moulton and Matilda Moulton; her daughter-in-law Viola Cluett Grandy; and her siblings, Victor Moulton (Janet) and Shirley Taylor (Clarence).
She is survived by: her children, Fred Grandy, Beverley Freeborn (Aubrey), Garry Grandy (Jean) and Ross Grandy (Lisa); and her grandchildren, Rhonda, Lisa, Jackie, Tom, Allison, Albert, Junior, Michelle, Duane, Roben, Alexandria and Kristina.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Wiseman's Funeral Homes - Grand Bank (48 Marine Dr, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Salvation Army Citadel (29 Citadel Rd, Grand Bank, NL A0E1W0). A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM.
In Laura's memory, in-lieu of flowers donations will be made to the Faith & Hope Corps Cemetery Fund and the Grand Bank Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
