We are sad to announce that on July 29, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Joan Samms of Grand Bank, Newfoundland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Simeon Hillier and Susy Hillier; her granddaughter Danielle Cox; and her father-in-law Clifford Samms. She is survived by: her husband William (Bill); her children, Corey Edwards (Kayla), Bernie Edwards (Karen), Lisa Coulter (Jamie) and Sueann Cox (Steven) of Alberta; her siblings, Dulcie Bemsiter, Georgina Rodway and Philip Hillier (Effie); her mother-in-law Emma Samms; her sister-in-law Brenda; her nephew Ernest; her aunt Greta Samms; and her close friends, Beulah Smith, Shirley Bungay, Karen, Claude, Bruce and Brenda Wooden. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of relatives and friends.
As per COVID 19 regulations, everyone is asked to sign the contact tracing sheet upon entering the building and masks are required.
In lieu of flowers The Samms Family would greatly appreciate any donations to help with the funeral expenses, but flowers will be gratefully accepted.
