He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Hodder; his parents, Donald Hodder and Jessie Hodder; his parents-in-law, Leonard and Lillian Kirby; his siblings, Selena, Levi, Judy Diane, Clarence and Alice; and his sister-in-law Yvonne Green.
He is survived by: his children, Judy Hillier (Roy) of Winterland, Janice Bolt (Rick) of Rothesay, NB and Jeff Hodder (Michelle) of Creston; his grandchildren, Robyn (Steven), Kirby (Bradley), Jordan, Devin (Emma), Hayden (Ashley) and Haley; his great grandchildren, Jordan, Grayson, Lincoln and Brady; his siblings, Anne Barry (Derm) of Creston, George Hodder (Elizabeth) of Creston and Calvin Hodder (Christina) of Creston; his siblings-in-law, Holly Ferguson (Ken) of Whitby, ON, Captain Randy Kirby (Diane) of Seal Cove, Melvin Kirby (Madeline) of Burin, Mike Bilous of Salisbury, NB and Cyril Green of Lewin's Cove; and his close friend Beulah Emberley.
