Ida E. Parsons Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida E. Parsons (Grand Bank, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 3, 2018, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Parsons; her parents, Arthur Durnford and Edith Durnford; her grandson Tanner Parsons; her siblings, Mable Young, Janet Priddle, John Durnford, Reginald Durnford and William Durnford; and her brother-in-law Melvin Skinner.

She is survived by: her children, Ches Parsons (Patricia) of Port Bickerton, Arthur Parsons (Debbie) of Montreal, Bessie Grandy (Roy) of Grand Bank, Mary Skinner (James) of Grand Bank and Emily Carroll (James) of St. Andrews; her siblings, Mary Skinner of Louisbourg and Gordon Durnford (Sarah) of Halifax; and her sister-in-law Minnie Durnford.

In Ida's memory, donations may be made to the Blue Crest Home or the St. Alban's Anglican Cemetery Fund.
