It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frederick Coombs of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, who passed away on October 6, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Frederick Coombs to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his son Tom Coombs; his daughter-in-law Regina Coombs; his grandson Bradley Coombs; his great grandchild Alexandra Somerton; his sisters, Gillette Mcacharen, Elizabeth Mckinnon, Agnes Pardy, Priscilla Hynes, Sarah Clarke and Kathleen Clarke; and his son-in-law Lloyd Rideout.
He is survived by: his wife Harriett; his children, Fred Coombs Jr. (Nellie), Corella Coombs, Calvin Coombs (Pauline) and Geraldine (Joe); his grandchildren, Sherry, Wanda, Jane, Joanne, Alex, Calvin Jr., Dylan, Chelsea and Justin; and his great grandchildren, Christian, Owen, Madison, Jamie, Layla, Thomas, Payton, Benjamin, Emerson, Charlie, Amelia and Jake.
In keeping with Covid restrictions there will be a walk through visitation Thursday, October 7th from 4-9PM and Friday 2- 4PM and 7-9PM at Serenity Funeral Home, Grand Bank. In Keeping with Covid 19 restrictions everyone must wear a mask, sanitize and sign in when entering the funeral home.
