He was predeceased by: his wife Florence Baker; his parents, James Baker and Pearl Baker; his grandparents, Ernest, Marjorie Keeping, Felix, Sadie Baker, Wallace and Frances Hayward; and his brother Wally Baker.
He is survived by: his close friend Pauline Day; his children, Winston Baker of St. John's and Pamela Baker of St. John's; his siblings, Sadie Baker of Halifax, Stanley Baker (Betty) of Avondale and Edward Baker (Nora) of Grand Bank; his grandchildren, Savannah, Santana, Morgan and Julia; and his nieces and nephews, Tina, Tammy, Kim, Heather, Jennifer, Johnathan and Neil.
In Ernest's memory donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association, or flowers gratefully accepted.
