She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Bennett; her son Chesley Bennett; her parents, George Barnes and Audrey Barnes; and her grandson Keith Lake.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Mildred) of Grand Bank, Charles Jr. (Cecily) of Grand Bank, Max (Arbor) of Toronto, ON, Bessie Lake (Charles) of Grand Bank, Ethel Lake (Carl) of Toronto, ON and Tarra Lawson (Steve) of Grand Beach; and her siblings, Jessie Billard of Halifax and Cecil Barnes (Frances) of Toronto, ON. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
