He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Welsh and Melinda Welsh; his brother Chesley; his parents-in-law, George and Mary Thornhill; and his brother-in-law Eli Hillier.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie; his daughters, Cawley King (Chris) of Brooks, AB and Kelli Davis (Todd) of Clarenville, NL; his nephew Roger Welsh; his siblings-in-law, Loretta Welsh, Ruth Pope (Carl), Henrietta Hillier, Eileen Bondy (Roland) and Bert Thornhill (Mary); his grandchildren, Charlie, Christyn and Reid; and his close friend Glynn Littlejohn.
In Clayton's memory donations may be made to Child Youth Network, a local church of one's choice or flowers gratefully accepted.
