It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Chesley May of Grand Bank, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 15, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Mabel; his son Leon; his parents, Ernest William and Marion May; his siblings, Merril and Florence; his nephews, Wally and Billy; and his close friend Roland Caines.
He is survived by: his wife Melinda; his daughters, Rhonda Savoury (Wade) of Grand Bank, Rosalind Richardson (Doug) of Gander and Renita Dominaux (Greg) of Grand Bank; his stepdaughters, Angie Rogers (Mark) of Edmonton, AB, Lana Tyrrell (Nick) of Scarborough, ON, Lisa Kearley (Dave) of Grand Bank and Bonnie Green (Colin) of Medicine Hat, AB; and his siblings, Irene Myles, Phyllis House (Nick) and Ernest John May (Olive). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; plus a large circle of extended family and friends.
In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, Alert Level 4, a walk through visitation with each household bubble will take place on Sunday, January 16th, 2022 for 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and on Monday, January 17th, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
In Chesley's memory donations may be made to St. Alban's Cemetery Fund, Grand Bank, no flowers by request of the family.
