He was predeceased by: his son Donald Roy; his parents, Chesley Eveleigh and Almeda Eveleigh; and his parents-in-law, James and Maggie Lawrence.
He is survived by: his wife Ada Eveleigh; his siblings, Stella Stoodley (Ray), Kathleen Eveleigh, Jeneatte Parsons and Fred (Marjorie); and his sisters-in-law, Freda King (Millett) and Marilyn Mackness.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Grand Bank United Church.
