He was predeceased by: his parents, Pat Cahill and Joan Cahill; and his brothers, Tom Cahill and Pat Cahill. He is survived by: his close friend Jean Tomlin; his children, Michael Cahill, Cory Cahill, Georgina English, Diane English and Eric English (Sandra); his grandchildren, Avery Cahill, Brooklyn Cahill, Tony J. Cahill, Justin English and Eric English Jr.; and his siblings, Jill Bemister (Will), Joan Cooke (Chris), Sheila Chafe and Gerry Cahill (Sandra). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
