Thomas Ethelred Lane Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas Ethelred Lane (Glovertown, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 24, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lane and Eliza Ann Lane-Bradley; and his parents-in-law, Alexander Duffitt and Elsie. He is survived by: his wife Nita Lane (Duffitt); his children, John, Marilyn (Alan), Barbara (Mike), Janice (Mike) and Arlene (Derrick); his grandchildren, Jason (Carla), Jody (Tracey), Selena, Kristen (Barry), Shannon (Jonathan) and Taylar; his great grandchildren, Isabel, Sydney, Paige, Grayson, Tommy and Waylon; his sister Rebecca Squire (Alfred); his sister-in-law Marina Duffitt Walker; his stepfather James Bradley; his stepbrothers, Wesley, Mac and Gerald Bradley; and his siblings-in-law, Albert Squire, Nellie and Alex Duffitt. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

Flowers will be accepted or donations can be made to the Holy Cross Cemetery Fund in Tom's memory.
