It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley Penney of Glovertown, Newfoundland, who passed away on December 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Shirley Penney to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Harvey Penney; and her parents, Alan Goobie and Florence Goobie. She is survived by: her sons, Christopher (Diane) and Allan (Alanna); her granddaughter Amelia; her siblings, Marie (Ray), Glen (Helen) and Scott (Jean); her sister-in-law Marie (Frank); and her nieces and nephews, Lee, Krista, Heather, Chad, Gregory and Nikki.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Oram's Funeral Home- Eastport (60 Church St, Eastport, NL A0G1Z0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Holy Cross Anglican Church (72 Church St, Eastport, NL A0G1Z0).
