It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Janes (Glovertown, Newfoundland), who passed away on March 22, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Phyllis Janes to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her husband Lester; her close friend Clar; and her parents, Giles Saunders and Julia Saunders. She is survived by: her children, Janice (Dave), Jacqueline (Harold), Paul and Donnie (Sue); her grandchildren, Michelle, Karla, Christopher, Ryan, Benjamin and Mackenzie; her great grandchildren, Brigid, Morgan, Kolton, James, Zayn, Amir, William and Emma; and her siblings, Max Saunders, Ena, Charlotte, Dorothy, Gerald, Andrew, Philip, Vincent, Raymond, Fred, Eugene and Bert. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Donations can be made in her memory to the Janeway Hospital, St John's.
