It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Maxwell Oliver Saunders of Glovertown, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 10, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Elizabeth Dowden; his sons, Van and Cordell; his siblings, Charlotte, Dorothy, Ena, Joan, Andrew, Gerald, Burt, Eugene, Raymond, Philip, Vincent and Fred; and his parents, Jerry Saunders and Julia Saunders.
He is survived by: his granddaughters, Kimberley (Anatoli Sobtchouk) and Mandy (Marcus); his great grandchildren, Benjamin and Hayden; and his daughters-in-law, Gloria (Gabe) and Karen.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Oram's Funeral Homes - Glovertown (17 Main St S, Glovertown, NL A0G2L0). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 2:00 PM and on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 6:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Gospel Tabernacle Pentecostal Church.
