He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Matchim and Ida Matchim. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Matchim; his children, Laura Matchim, John and Mark Matchim of Paradise; and his siblings, Clar Matchim, Eileen Ypsilanti (Dimitri) of Halifax, NS, Nora Greene (Jack), Outer Cove, Pearl Larcombe (Randy) and Glenda Doyle (Randy).
