We are sad to announce that on October 31, 2018, at the age of 94, Elsie Jane Turner (Glovertown, Newfoundland) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Turner; her parents, William Penney and Rebecca Penney; and her sister Bertha Matchim. She is survived by: her sons, Sterling (Ellen) and David (Ellen); and her grandchildren, Derrick (Michelle) and Michael.
Left to mourn with fond memories are sons, Sterling (Ellen), David (Ellen), grandchildren, Derrick (Michelle), Michael and Penney (Sheldon, great grandchildren Emma and Lily, sister Elizabeth Moss and a large circle of relatives and friends. Resting at Oram's Funeral Home, Eastport. Visiting hours will be Saturday, November 3rd at 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm. In Lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Holy Cross Cemetery Fund, Eastport. Funeral service to take place Sunday, November 4th, 2:00pm at Holy Cross Church, Eastport.
