It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Wayne Collins of Glovertown, Newfoundland, who passed away on January 24, 2025, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Collins and Lucy Collins of Hare Bay; his brother Edward Collins; and his brother-in-law George Glover. He is survived by: his girlfriend Sharon Rogers; his siblings, Sam Collins (Isabelle), Lorraine Glover, Bertha Rumbolt (Wayne), Beatrice Churchill (Gord), Kevin Collins, Marie Oram (Boyde) and Connie Hancock (Derrick); his sister-in-law Marina; and his close friend Lori Rogers. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Pentecostal Church - Hare Bay (165 Main Rd, Hare Bay, NL A0G2P0). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
