He was predeceased by: his parents, Matthew Cluett and Maud Cluett; and his siblings, Matthew, Carlson, Edwin, Stan, Norman, Leo Cluett, Viola Grandy and Geraldine May.
He is survived by: his significant other Dorothy Plante; his children, Renee Cluett (Ray Tremblay) of Labrador City, Chanelle Alstad (Benjamin) of Edmonton, AB and Ryan Cluett of Labrador City; his grandchildren, Brianna, Ciara, Alex, Lincoln, Gemma, Noelle and William; and his siblings, Jim Cluett (Jessie), Ron Cluett, Albert Cluett (Marina) and Betty Parsons (Harold).
In Alvin's memory, in-lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Cluett family to be donated back to Frenchman's Cove United Church.
