She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Kennedy; her parents, William Smith and Anastasia Smith; her siblings, Madonna, Jim Smith (Alma) and Jerry Smith (Irene); her sister-in-law Lossie Smith; and her nephew Gerard Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Gill (Corey), Madonna Menchion (Dave), Judy, Margaret Burt (Rocky), Michael Kennedy (Jill) and Robert; her siblings, Angus, Don (Nina), Hughie (Jeanette), Ray (Jackie) and Margaret (Ron); her grandchildren, Samantha, Catherine, Ryan, Mackenzie, Jessica, Miranda, Emma, Hannah and Kenny; and her caregivers, Sarah, Brittany, Debbie, Stephanie and Mary.
