He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Dunphy and Anastasia Dunphy; and his siblings, Mary (Lamb), Patrick and Cam.
He is survived by: his wife Alrita White of Gander; his children, Donna Scott (Charlie), Derek Dunphy (Lisa Byrne), Darlene Dunphy-Skinner (Doug), Deanne Pittman (Scott) and Massey Drive; his grandchildren, Steven Scott, Stephanie Scott (Craig Cunningham), Danielle Reid (Jeremy), Deidre Skinner (Matthew Pittman), Allison Pittman (Brandon Crewe), Ryan Pittman, Ryan Clarke (Tiffiney), Laurissa Clarke and Erica Clarke Whalen (Wes); and his great grandchildren, Lincoln, Emily, Alex and Grayson. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, October 18th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Benton, NL A0G1C0). A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the St. Martin's Anglican Cathedral (2 Lindbergh Rd, Gander, NL A1V1T8). The inurnment was held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 at the Gander All Saints Cemetery.
