We are sad to announce that on February 17, 2024, at the age of 82, Genevieve Strickland (Gander, Newfoundland), born in Glovertown, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Strickland; her parents, Samuel Geange and Laura Geange; her brother Alexander Geange; and her sister-in-law Agnus Geange.
She is survived by: her close friend Albert Ferreira; her sons, Dale (Joan), Craig (Tracy) and Terry (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Caroline, Julia, Eason, Claire and Charlotte; her siblings, Maurice (Winnie), William and Hilda; her sister-in-law Brenda; and her caregiver Debbie Moore. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Genevieve's memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
