With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ford L. Lidstone in Gander, Newfoundland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 11, 2025 at the age of 88. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ford L. Lidstone to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur and Ida; and his brother Albert. He is survived by: his wife Shirley; his children, Brian (Glenda) and Ann (Elvis); his grandchildren, Katherine, Christopher (Lisa), Adam (Mairi) and Beth (Matthew); his great grandchild Keaira; his close friend Ryan; his sisters, Ivy (Walter) and Vida (Clem); and his siblings-in-law, Sheila and Gordon (Beatrice Bailey).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Gander, NL A1V 2E1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at 165 Airport Blvd, GANDER, NL.
