She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Sam Starkes and Janet Starkes; her siblings, Effie (Dafoe), Phyllis (Philpott), Lizzie, Betty (Wiseman), Annie (Hancock), Kathy (Geoff Muggridge), Wayne (Rosalynn) and Sterling (Sharon); her spouse Merle; her children, Val (Clayton), Pam (Mike) and Roma (Steve); her grandchildren, Sara (Brad), Julia, Sam, Jacob, Jemma, Leah, Zoe, Lila, Alice and William; and her close friend Mila. She was also cherished by Aunt Dee to her many nieces and nephews.
