With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Doris M. West (Gander, Newfoundland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Wellon and Rosanna Wellon; her husband Hardy West; and her siblings, Everett (Dorothy), Arthur (Rosie), Randolph (Marie), Joseph, Wallace, Louise Tulk (Enos) and Ivy West (Clarence).
She is survived by: her children, Sandra Kelly (Ron), Sharon McCann (Alan) and Eric West (Claudia); her brother Clifford Wellon (Nina); her sister-in-law Madeline Wellon; her grandsons, Ronnie Kelly (Annie), Sean Kelly (Janet) and Kevin McCann (Becky); and her great grandchildren, Tayla (Matt), Kael, Isabel and Carey.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Stacey's Funeral Home (60 Roe Ave, Gander, NL A1V 2E1). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Fraser Road United Church (1 Brochen St, Gander, NL A1V1T3).
