He was predeceased by: his parents, William John and Lillian Poole; his sisters, Beatrice Poole, Rose Hannah Savoury and Olive Jane Poole; and his siblings-in-law, Emily Poole, Raymond Savoury, Pious Poole Sr. and Michael Knickle.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Martha Jane Osbourne; his stepchildren, Abe Osbourne and Erica Poole; his grandchildren, Brooke, Allie, Etan, Kayden, Kensley, Gage, Maverick and Beau; and his siblings, Sam Poole, John Poole, Amos Poole (Brenda), Gordon Poole (Sherry), Jessie Fiander (David) of Belleoram, NL, Mary Piercy (Eugene) of Lunenburg, NS, Martin Poole of Lunenburg, NS, Lillian Kinckle of Bridgewater, NS and Hughie Poole (Judy) of Porter's Lake, NS. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, plus a large circle of other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society in David's honor.
