Bernice Mercer Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernice Mercer (Gander, Newfoundland), who passed away on June 19, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Philpott and Lucy Philpott (Ryan); her in-laws, Gerry and Corinne Mercer (Rees); her brother Leonard; and her nephew Robert (Bobby).

She is survived by: her husband Robin; her sons, Gerry (Julie) and Nicholas (Darren); her grandchildren, Max and Ivy; her siblings, Elizabeth Philpott (Newt), Mary Pretty, Edward Philpott (Gloria) and Nicholas Philpott (Barbara); her siblings-in-law, Arthur, Lorne (Barbara) and Candy; her nieces and nephews, Ryan, Bryan, Michael, William, Michelle, Tara, Nicole, Leah, Penny, Darragh, Allison and Ryan; her niece-in-law Cindy McNiven; her great-niece Hayley Winter (Philip); her close friends, Gerri Mouland (Chris), Jeanne Morey-Martin (Lance), Kathleen Philpott (Bill) and Roz Babstock (Don); and her friends, Carl March and Cassandra Goodyear.
