He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Collins and Dorothy Collins; his stepfather Robert Keats; and his siblings, Elsie, Elizabeth and Willis.

He is survived by: his wife Ida (Nee Powell); his children, Darlene (Aaron), Dorothy (Rick) and Arthur (Tammy); and his grandchildren, Kyle, Alicia and Olivia. He is also survived by numerous brothers, sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the United Church.
