Wilson Chafe Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wilson Chafe (Foxtrap, Newfoundland), who passed away on July 31, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Chafe and Melvin Chafe; his sister Betty Chafe; and his parents-in-law, Edna and Israel Fagan.

He is survived by: his wife Gloria; his children, Corrina Carberry (Brian) and Corey Chafe (Camilla); his siblings, Evelyn Chafe, Linda Snelgrove (Terry), Albert (Gertrude) and Kevin (Suzanne); his siblings-in-law, Sharon Butler (Byron), Darlene Walsh (Cyril), Derrick (Marilyn), Dave (Debbie), Randy (Rod), Rod (Kim) and Ross (Roxanne); his uncle Rex Piercey (Judy); his aunt Shirley Buffett; and his close friends, Margie and Merrill Nurse. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

According to COVID restrictions, visitation will be in Hickey's Funeral Home, Kelligrews on Tuesday and Wednesday from 2PM – 7 PM.

Flowers gratefully accepted or donations in Wilson's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.
