She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucy Foote and Norman Foote; her brother Norman Foote Jr.; and her parents-in-law, Jessie and James Clarke.

She is survived by: her husband Charles; her children, Sherry (Colin) of Paradise, Charlene (Lionel) of Paradise and Jonathan (Cathrina) of St. John's; her grandchildren, Eva, Macy and Jaxson; her siblings, Phyllis Penney (Aubrey), Elaine Moulton (Murray), Freeman Foote (Mary), Howard Foote (Judy) and Gilbert Foote; her sister-in-law Geraldine Foote; and her uncles, Joe Hillier and Calvin Foote.

In Meta's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations can graciously be made to the Clarke Family.
