Ken Slaney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ken Slaney (Fortune, Newfoundland), who passed away on February 15, 2024 at the age of 61. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael and Theresa (Harnett); his brother Terry; his brother-in-law Bob Robson; and his brother Brian.
He is survived by: his children, Terry (Jennifer) and Jenna (Mal); his siblings, Chris (Noella), Richard, Carl (Patricia), Beth, Sarah, Jean, Ellen (Paul), Lynette (George), Ann-Marie (Richard) and Michelle (Howard); and his aunts, Helen Slaney and Blanche Slaney.
In Ken's memory, in-lieu of flowers, donations will be collected for St. John's Intergroup of Alcoholics Anonymous, a non-profit recovery group which was very dear to Ken and his family. Donations can be received by cash, cheque (addressed to Ken), or email transfer to his daughter, Jenna at [email protected].
