She was predeceased by: her husband Frank; her son Walter; her granddaughter-in-law Shelly Patten; her great grandchild Rosa; her parents, Albert Purchase and Bethina Purchase; and her brothers, Freeman and George Purchase.
She is survived by: her son Keith Patten (Brenda) of Fortune; her daughter-in-law Charlene Patten of Grand Bank; her grandchildren, Ross Patten (Amy), Brian Patten (Jocelyn), Michelle (Marshall Cox), Chad and Sherri; her great grandchildren, Abigail Patten (Robert Oake), Kyle Patten, Ethan Patten, Cameron and Lilah; and her siblings, Dorothy Ross of Burin and Albert Purchase (Florence) of Halifax.
In Jessie's memory, donations may be made to the United Church in Fortune or the Church of the Most Holy Rosary in Lamaline.
