We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2024, at the age of 90, Harold Thornhill of Fortune, Newfoundland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Irene; his son Gordon; his son-in-law Clayton; his parents, Frank Thornhill and Agnes Thornhill; and his siblings, Gordon, Bill, Eli, Ruby, Susie and Shirley.
He is survived by: his children, Tony Thornhill (Christine) of Paducah, Joanne Harris (Cecil) of Grand Bank, Colleen Peach (Sterling) of Brampton, ON, Gail Thornhill (Jeff Keats) of St. John's and Janice Trimm (Carey) of Grand Bank; his grandchildren, Pamela, Jeffrey, Adam, Aaron, Caroline and Ian; his great grandchildren, Owen and Delaney; and his siblings, Ewart Thornhill of Ottawa, Margaret Hamilton and Bertha Andrews of St. John's.
In Harold's memory donations may be made to the Fortune United Church Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
