He was predeceased by: his parents, Annie Shea and Leo Shea; his siblings, Walter, John, Maurice, Mike, Terrance, Mary, Edith and Pauline; his brothers-in-law, Herbie, Nick and Pius; his godchild Madgalon Shea; and his close friend Hubert Slaney.
He is survived by: his children, Walter Shea (Felicity) of Grand Bank, Chantal Shea (Rocky Fleming) of Lamaline and Amanda Shea (David Savoury) of Fortune; his grandchildren, Jasmine, Jada, Jacob, McKayla, Bailey, Nick and Preston; his sisters, Simone Shea and Margaret Hennebury (Bob); his brothers-in-law, Carl Hillier and Lucien Perron; and his niece Shannon Shea-Connors.
