He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Riggs and Dove Riggs; his brothers-in-law, Dan Willis and Lawrence Larsen; his parents-in-law, Sam and Ellen Bungay; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Coles (Clayton), Melinda Alexander (Robert), Mabel Hillier, Josephine Benson and George Bungay.
He is survived by: his wife Sue; his daughters, Kimberly Jeannette Riggs (Johnny Rousselle) of Fredericton, NB and Jennifer Lynn Riggs-Miller (Chris Veno) of Fredericton, NB; his nephew Ellis Coles (Rosalind) of Paradise, NL; his grandchildren, Kolbe Miller, Jadyn Miller, Aidan Rousselle, Mckenzie Veno and Mallory Veno; his siblings, Roma Hampton (Lloyd), Jeannette Dampier, Faye Larsen and Rennie Riggs (Lorraine); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Roberts (Ron), Margaret Blasco (William), Scottie Bungay, Gerry Hillier and Merv Benson.
