We are sad to announce that on August 23, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Ethel Wells of Fortune, Newfoundland. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Foster; her son Barry; her parents, Morgan Thornhill and Lillian Thornhill; and her siblings, Charlie, Eli and Myrtle.
She is survived by: her children, Robert (Julie) of Marystown, Perry (Margaret) of Point May, Glenn of St. John's, Aubrey (Pauline) of Fortune, May Burt (Lloyd) of Molliers and Carletta Wells (Ed Howell) of Northern Bay; her sister Ada Thornhill (Peter); her grandchildren, Tonia, Barry, Damian, Daniel, Jeanica, Jonathan, Justin, Jeffrey and Nakita; and her great grandchildren, Addison, Robert, Elizabeth, Nicholas, Amber, Hayden, Dainel, Julie, Katie, Averiee, Jack, Asher, Alayah and Lexi.
In order to maintain social distancing and to follow the public health advisory of COVID 19, a walk through visitation will take place on Tuesday, August 25th from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
In Ethel's memory, donations may be made to All Saints Anglican Cemetery Fund or Fortune Salvation Army Cemetery Fund.
