She was predeceased by: her husband George Cake; her siblings, Alfred Crews and Violet Hillier; and her parents, Kenneth Crews and Charlotte Crews.
She is survived by: her children, Melvin Cake (Marilyn) of Manuals, CBS and Sharon Cake (Ira Hepditch) of Point; her grandchildren, Danny Cake (Sheena), Greg Cake (Angie), Amanda Byrne (John), Susan Cake (Bob), Lorne Walsh (Cindy) and Chelsey Cake; her great grandchildren, Reg, Hilda, George, Claudia, Charles, Alex, Emily and Charlie; her siblings, Pearl Burton (Don) of Fortune, Florence Stacey of Grand Bank, Roberta Pritchett of St. John, Laura Clarke of Twillingate, Audrey Bullerwell of London, ON and Hubert Crews of London, ON; and her sisters-in-law, Ruth Crews, Barbara Rideout (Merv), Joan Vallis (Len) of Nova Scotia and Annie Haskell of Grand Bank.
