She is survived by: her children, Shelley Symes (Stanley) of Fortune and Perry Barnes (Kimberley) of Fortune; her grandchildren, Bradley Symes (Amanda), Tyler Barnes (Karren) and Hillary Barnes (Michael); her great grandchildren, Bridget, Callie, Oaklynn Symes and Hannah Barnes; her siblings, Georgie Rose (Earl), Emma Mae Strickland (Cecil), Shirley Bungay, Donna Cook (Roger), Jacob Thornhill (Lenora), Charles Thornhill (Frances), Cecil Thornhill (Alvina), William Thornhill (Mary), Lloyd Thornhill (Grace) and Howard Thornhill; her siblings-in-law, Geraldine Barnes, Eileen Barnes and Howard Cousins; her stepdaughters, Bonnie Rogers-Greene (Colin), Lisa Kearley (Dave), Lana Tyrrell (Nick) and Angie Rogers (Mark); her stepgrandchildren, Megan Rogers, Robyn Kearley, Taylor Barter, Steven Kearley, Brittany Hodge and Chelsea Hodge; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Payton Paxton, Julien Paxton and Casey Tyrrell.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the All Saints Anglican Chapel. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the All Saints Anglican Church.
