With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of David Russell Sperry (Fortune, Newfoundland), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid David Russell farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For David Russell is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Sperry and Mary Sperry. He is survived by: his wife Leah; his children, Shannon (Gustaf), Michelle (Miles) and Jonathan; his grandsons, Ian and Brennan; and his sisters, Althea (Casey) and Rosalind (William). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and two great-grandsons.
In David's memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Frenchman's Cove Anglican Church Cemetery Fund.
