He was predeceased by: his parents, George Price and Ida Price; his grandparents, Onslow and Rebecca Barnes; and his father-in-law Wilson Lee.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Barnes; his sons, Mark Barnes (Melissa) of St. John's and Jonathan Barnes of Paradise; his grandson Jack Barnes; his sister Lorraine Snook (Jullian) of Fortune; his aunt Ruby Lake (Cecil) of Fortune; his mother-in-law Isabella Lee of Grand Bank; and his siblings-in-law, Rhoda Evans (Wayne), Barbara Belbin (Enos), Cathy Whiffen (Sam) and John Lee (Darlene).
In David's memory donations may be made to the Salvation Army Cemetery Fund or flowers gratefully accepted.
