She was predeceased by: her husband William Slaney; her parents, Gregory Giovannini and Elizabeth Giovannini; and her siblings, Walter Giovannini (Clara), Alfred Giovannini (Dorcas), Leonice Donahue (Bill), Ruth Giovannini and Rita Giovannini.
She is survived by: her children, Perry Slaney (Helen) of Houston, BC, Craig Slaney (Patricia) of St. John's and Lynn Young (Robert) of Portugal Cove; her grandchildren, Alonzo Slaney (Andrea), Heather Slaney, Jeff Slaney (Kirsten), Lisa Slaney and Samantha Young (Owen); and her great grandchildren, Dawson, Dakota and Tucker. She is also survived by her children and grandchildren dearly and visits to Nanny.
The Slaney Family will be accepting visitors at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on: Tuesday November 26th, 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, St. Lawrence on: Wednesday November 27th, 2024 at 11:00 AM, In Blanche's memory donations may be made to Stella Maris Hall Corporation or flowers gratefully accepted.
