He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward and Pearl (Hancock); and his brothers, Robert, Clifford, Almond and Eric.
He is survived by: his wife Louisa Flynn; and his children, Nellie (Derek), Graham (Audrey), Barbara (Dave), Catriana (Sheldon) and Junior (Colleen). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; as well as many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
