With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph B Wissler of Forteau, Newfoundland, who passed away on November 7, 2024 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Joseph may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary and Richard; and his uncle Bill Norris. He is survived by: his wife Heather; his daughter Motlatsi; his grandson Kaelan Matthews of Calgary; his brother Rick (Kathy) of Pittsford, NY; his siblings-in-law, Warren (Joy) of Mt. Pearl, Lynne Cook (Bob) of Halifax and Sandra Perry (Brian) of Comox, BC; and also California.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the United Church Cemetery.
