He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel and Blanch; his granddaughter Amanda; his siblings, Donald, Freddie, Ford, Herbert, Frances, Marjorie, Ethel, Georgina and Lenora; his stepson Kevin Freake; his wife Margaret; his children, Cecil (Madonna), Betty (Ernest) and Nancy (Gordon); his stepdaughters, Melinda Freake (Edward) and April (Rodney Lane); and his sister May (Ronald Langdon).
