He was predeceased by: his parents, James Walsh and Bridget Walsh; his parents-in-law, James and Ellen Moore; and his siblings, Edna Harvey (Bill), Mary Brewin (Eric), Clara Scott (Richard), Agnes Jordan and Cecil (Hilda).

He is survived by: his wife Anna (Moore); his daughter Helen; his siblings, Richard, Kitty Clowe and Doris Hapgood; his siblings-in-law, Esther Marshall (Pat) and Edgar Moore; and his nephew Jimmy Harvey (Connie).
