It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thomas William Burton of Fermeuse, Newfoundland, who passed away on April 12, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burton and Theresa Burton; and his brother Peter Burton. He is survived by: his wife Winnifred; his children, Evan and Mary Tucker (Geoff); his grandchildren, Deandra (Mike), Jakeb and Keanan; his great grandchildren, Declan, Mark and Aurora; his sister Helen Kenny; and his sisters-in-law, Angela Burton and Joan O'Neill. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fahey's Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Holy Apostles Church. A burial was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at the St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery.
