He is survived by: his wife Gladys; his children, Rosalind Coombs (Fabian), Perry (Debbie), Doug (Pam), Verda Kavanagh (Gerard), Diane Brophy (Des) and Jamie (Patricia); his siblings, Charlie (Dorothy), Edmund (Yvonne) and Dorothy Hurley (Jim Collins); his siblings-in-law, Lena Oates, Emma Dyer, Ruby Schwab (Albert), Millicent Andrews, Verda Greening (Fred) and John Ash (Emma); and his friend Ronnie Wheaton.
